Farmers Market Set for Spring Return
Telford Shopping Centre will be once again hosting the ever popular famers market on Saturday 28th April. The event will see around 20 county farmers and producers set up stall in Central Square to offer fresh and artisan produce including the very best of Shropshire-produced meats, breads, crafts and cakes.
The market’s return to Telford Shopping Centre last spring was widely cheered by shoppers and the event has become a firm fixture. The Centre’s director, Chris Jones, comments: “Farmers markets are becoming increasingly popular and with the abundance of fresh produce that the Shropshire area has to offer, we felt it only right to support local producers through a market at the Shopping Centre.”
Organisers are planning a few surprises for the next market to coincide with the start of Spring and St Georges Day – and with the weather getting warmer, the market will once again be outdoors.
The Farmers Market will take place on Saturday 28 April from 10am to 3pm in Central Square. Future markets will take place on the last Saturday of every month.
