Having appointed a new visual merchandise team their latest measure is to create a department store feel with piped music and different themes presented as you walk around the massive superstore.
A recent £20,000 has been invested on a deeper sleeper display of Sealy posturepeadic beds, which has just been installed along with a £50,000 Halo studio and £10,000 on the finest leather sofas, Editions by Natuzzi Group.
The company continues to house the largest brand names in the furniture and carpet industry, especially the bedding department. A further £5,000 is currently being invested on new heating system on the carpet department alone with a Powerflex heating system that will remotely control the flow of warm air circulating the department. The choice of carpets mirrors their vision statement, that everybody can have anything, their prices are very competitive from starter homes and landlords and people who are on a budget to those that have the ability to enjoy the finest 100% hand made woollen carpets designed by Jacaranda.
A further 10,000 square feet extension is currently being discussed to join the Telford store, this will allow more stock to be held for busy times like Christmas and bank holidays as they are finding people like to come in and buy but they want it that day.
In addition to the branded furniture Trio Furnishings also deal with worldwide factories that deliver in 40ft containers every month. Their own brand “Trio Furnishings” carries seven exclusive designs of metal beds frames; they also have a range of solid oak furniture, all hand made using the finest American oak and a further collection of recliner sofas.
A deal has just been signed off with Lay-z-boy, one of the world’s largest furniture with motion companies, this is the latest brand name to join the group. The new 27 seat show display has now been launched along with the famous Duresta upholstery.
Further investment is also underway to build their online sales. Their website www.triofurnishings.com now attracts tens of thousands of people weekly. This is their latest growth area with new employees are being taken on to join the online team to cope with the demand of telesales and online orders, which are despatched nationally daily.
They also offer an interior design plan. They have just completed a 4 bedroomed showhome for Hamma investments in Oakengates and things like rhino heads and large posters of New York are not to be sneezed at, as they look amazing.
